Is your home safe from the threat of wildland fire?
This presentation will help you learn important steps you can take to better protect your family, home, and community!
The Fire Safe Council of Santa Cruz County would like to invite you to attend one of our six presentations on Home Hardening. Learn about projects you can do to help make your home better able to withstand wildfires.
The presentation will start with your home’s roof and work down to the ground, reviewing best practices to improve personal and structure safety. We will also cover recommended Do and Don’ts—guidelines for the critical five-feet immediately surrounding your home.
The presentation will end with a series of photos of homes in Santa Cruz County, giving participants a chance to evaluate each home with newly critical eyes and see what each homeowner should do to improve the safety of their home.
