Reverse 911 & Important Contacts
Registering with CruzAware, the regional reverse 911 service for Santa Cruz County, is one way to ensure that you will be informed and prepared in the event of an emergency. Click here to register. This is especially important if your cell phone has an out-of-area area code. You will receive evacuation notices, bio-terrorism alerts, missing person reports, and severe weather alerts.
CruzAware evacuation warnings and orders will reference "zones" and not geographic areas, so it is important for a resident to "know your zone". Your zone can be determined by using Genasys Protect to search for your street address to understand your zone. Click here to find your zone.
